THE CALL
THE CALL
OUTLINE
I. Jesus is speaking with knowledge of things He would not have known other than through God’s will and His Spirit – because they, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are one. (John 7:16, 3:11; Matthew11:27; Deuteronomy 18:15,18,19)
II. When a person believes in Jesus and publicly confesses that belief they now have three things, 1) FORGIVENESS: (Romans 4:5-8; Matthew 26:28) of everything they have done or will do against God, 2) REDEMPTION: (Romans 3:21-26) the rescuing from our enslavement to sin and eternal condemnation to an eternally reconciled relationship with God, (John 17:3), and 3) they are a NEW CREATION with Christ in You, (2 Corinthians 5:17).
III. Doing God’s will is not about you. Instead, it is about God and honoring God. Then and only then are we actually doing it for the right reasons. (John 7:17,18; Psalm 25:9, 14; Proverbs 3:32; Dan 12:10; John 3:21; 8:43f)
Roman Road to Salvation

Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This verse highlights the consequence of sin (death) and the gift of salvation (eternal life) offered through Jesus.
Romans 5:8: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This verse emphasizes God's love for humanity, demonstrated by sending Jesus to die for our sins.
Romans 10:9: “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” This verse outlines the act of faith and confession required for salvation.
