KEY VERSE

Proverbs 24:1-4

Do not be envious of evil men, nor desire to be with them; For their minds devise violence, and their lips talk of trouble. By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; And knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

I. The further we stay away from evil, the less likely we are to succumb to its ways. (Gen. 3:1-6)

II. Whatever we sow, whatever we plant in our lives, is what will grow. (Mat. 26:52; Gal. 6:7)

III. By wisdom and understanding, and knowledge, houses are built, established, and filled with treasures. (Prov. 24:3,4)

IV. Individuals can lessen the influence of evil by:

> Establishing firm limitations on relationships

> Watching carefully

> Cultivating Spiritual Strength

> Depending on divine grace

Life in this world is tough, but it is even tougher if you're evil. Therefore, be in this world but not of this world.
