ROMANS 2:9–11 (NASB95)

THERE WILL BE TRIBULATION AND DISTRESS FOR EVERY SOUL OF MAN WHO DOES EVIL, OF THE JEW FIRST AND ALSO OF THE GREEK, 10 BUT GLORY AND HONOR AND PEACE TO EVERYONE WHO DOES GOOD, TO THE JEW FIRST AND ALSO TO THE GREEK. 11FOR THERE IS NO PARTIALITY WITH GOD.

OUTLINE

I. Death comes to those who refuse the Triune God (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit). They refuse to acknowledge Him as God, and they refuse to follow God’s will. (Romans 1:18-32)

II. Whenever you judge someone else as a sinner, you are also condemning yourself as the same. (Romans 2:1)

III. God judges those who judge and do wrong things, and we know his judgment is right because it is based on absolute truth – God’s truth. (Romans 2:2)

IV. We are all on a level playing field when it comes to God’s judgment, because we all have fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 2:5-11)

V. At the end of the day, there is only one judge for all of humanity, and that judge is JESUS CHRIST. (Romans 2:14-15; John 5:22)

There is only one God, Son, and Holy Spirit; and there is only one judge, Jesus Christ.
