OUTLINE

I. There is no need for SORROW, because God has given us everything we need to flourish in physical life, and if we accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah (Savior), we have everything we need to flourish in the eternal realm.

(ROMANS 9:1–5)

II. God’s PROMISES are fulfilled according to ultimate plans. (ROMANS 9:6)

III. Some may view it as an “injustice” that the thief on the cross was welcomed into Heaven. Still, in truth, his salvation—and ours—is a powerful demonstration of God’s SOVEREIGN MERCY and GRACE, because none of us could enter God’s presence apart from them. (ROMANS 9:14–18)

IV. God is sovereign over HIS creation – He has absolute authority. (ROMANS 9:19–24)

V. God’s sovereign plan of salvation, the only real plan for salvation, CALLS the Gentiles out of bondage while faithfully preserving a believing remnant within Israel. (ROMANS 9:25–29)

VI. Righteousness comes through FAITH, not through works of the Law. (ROMANS 9:30–33)

Believing in Christ as your Savior brings forth righteousness; righteousness gives birth to faith, and faith produces hope for the future.

Love Y’all, Cary Savior
